1.1 RELATED SECTIONS

1.2 SUBMITTALS

A. Submit under provisions of Section 01300.

B. Shop Drawings: Show fabrication and installation details for decorative metal. Submit the following:

1. Drawings indicating locations of products of this section in project

2. Drawings and details indicating sizes, materials, thicknesses and locations of products. Provide setting plan with installation techniques, provisions for reinforcement and anchoring.

3. If templates are required, submit full size templates for products requiring templates for fabrication.

4. Submit images of Patterns, Models and plaster castings for each custom casting required

1.3 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING

A. Packing, Shipping, Handling and Unloading: Package finished products to prevent damage to products and finishes.

B. Storage and Protection:

1. Store products in manufacturer's packaging until installation.

2. Keep product in safe, dry storage area until installation.

1.4 SCHEDULING

A. Supply full size templates for products requiring templates for fabrication to manufacturer of products of this section in time for scheduled fabrication.

PART 2 PRODUCTS

2.1 MANUFACTURERS

B. Requests for substitutions will be considered in accordance with provisions of Section 01600.

PART 3 EXECUTION

3.1 EXAMINATION

A. Verification of Conditions:

1. Verify locations, openings and substrates are prepared to receive products of this section.

2. Notify Architect of unsuitable conditions.

3. Beginning construction activities of this section indicates installer's acceptance of conditions.

3.2 INSTALLATION

A. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations and the approved shop drawings.

B. Where appropriate, supply products of this section for installation by installers of products of other sections.

3.3 PROTECTION

A. Protect installed metal products from damage by other trades and subsequent construction activities.

B. Replace damaged product.
